Ok, good point. We can always sort it out later… when the data form module lands: It is quite unbelievable the amount of uses I've already imagined for that module!
The way I like to view sites like this, is that 95%+ of users won't be wikidotty and know all the syntax let alone be bothered to structure it how some "admin" wants them to. The DF module will make all the structuring automatic and we won't have to have discussions like this any more :D

To be honest, I think we should stop posting here right now - and move this conversation to the forum. This is like a 'second forum' in a way — and should be avoided.
I'm not sure how you enabled the discuss link, as I never use it and therefore have never had to enable it… but instead I think just the link to the forum in the topbar is enough.
Or perhaps a link directly to the current console's section.

I remember when I was just starting out with gaming — I didn't have a clue how to use AR Codes, but I knew I'd need some kind of device that plugged into the console (this is old technology and redundant nowadays). The thing is, I just skipped past those codes and looked for the stuff I wanted.
So what I'm trying to say is: don't underestimate how intelligent a user can be. They know what they want, and they know how to ignore something they don't need.
Though yes, things do need to be idiot-proof, to a degree…
This will all be so much easier when the data form module is set up. We could have a section for "regular cheats" and a section for any "ram hacking" cheats…. and so on.
I think for the time being you need to just give them heading. If i was a simple NDS user who came looking for cheats and saw all these codes, I would be thoroughly confused :-s
Or… <lightbulb> …we could use tabs.
some regular cheats

Hmmm, it's a good concept but it is hard to get it noticed and I find it rather cumbersome to use. Maybe when the data form module is completed it'll be easier. I really like the idea of having a calendar showing when games will be released; using different colours for different consoles :)
This site could host that information and I feel there is more potential than simply asking people to post cheats here.
I noticed on my (small) laptop screen that the "add game" box overlaps some long game/page titles. Therefore, I believe we should have a sidebar. This could also include more information (don't know what yet, maybe a little calendar, new cheats… I'm sure we'll think of something!).
Have a think about it and what you'd like to do. I will bump you up to admin and you are welcome to make changes where you see fit. We can always discuss such changes here on the forums.

Yes, they're AR codes. I'm not sure what the nitePR is, but the codes work on flashcarts, which play backups similar to how a PC emulator plays a rom file.
I've had a look at that nitePR page — if that was done here it would basically be a duplicate of http://cheats.gbatemp.net, which is a waste of effort? (reinventing the wheel)
I was thinking that there would be a mix of AR Codes and hints/tips on the same page…?
Are these codes for a ram hacking device like the nitePR for the PSP?
If so, could you please set this up similar to the PSP page.

Ok. You can set that up if you like. It's rather obvious as to the format of how things work around here. Just make the tag: "nds" or similar.

One of my websites (CycloDS Revolution) is focused on this handheld, and there are plenty of cheats available for games - particularly cheat codes. People are constantly inventing new cheats over at GBATemp Cheats' forums
Naturally, this would also cover the DSi console.
nitePR category is set up. Feel free to create and edit the live template for it and modify the starting page to provide more info.

do you mind if i edit the template page a little bit so the layouts right for psp? i might have to add a extra input field so the nitepr cheats are displayed properly. or you could just add a separate category for psp so i dont change the existing one
sweet!
Go for it, as long as it is displayed neatly :)
